About Us Welcome to our website. While AAMCO Transmissions has been around for over 40 years. Our Shop has been around for just over a year this July. In the past year time we have been blessed to have already served over 1000 vehicles. We try our best to give our customers the type of experience we would want at a repair shop. To help us do this we offer 2 great FREE services. 1st is our FREE 71-Step TranScan - Read more about it HERE. 2nd is our FREE 36-Step ProtectCheck - Read more about it HERE. While we have only been in the Reading area for a short time our background comes from over 3 generations of Automotive Repair. Jeffrey Arms Jr - Owner and operator offers a strong background in Diagnostic Automotive Repair coming from over 3 generations of Automotive Repair background. He is able to get involved with both the customer's situations as well as maintain close observation over all vehicles that are repaired within the shop. His background allows him to communicate with customers as an owners as well as a technician. Myself - Tammie Arms and Owner - I'm the one your likely to talk to when you call to make an appointment or ask a question. I am usually handling some parts order, paperwork and all of the advertising, such as this website. I try to do my best to fill in anything thats left to do and keep the lines of communication going in our busy shop. Our full service shop is capable of servicing any automotive need that you might have. We have several experienced technicians as well as a full time transmission builder with many years of experience building transmissions that last. We are very fortunate that we can get high quality parts at great prices to give you the best repair possible. That's why we offer the best nationwide warranty available with almost 1000 shops to service you nationwide! Our goal is to be as Eco-Green friendly of a shop as possible. We use eco friendly solvents whenever possible as well as recycling our fluids, filters and containers. We are one of the 1st 50 shops to offer the ECO-Green E85 Conversion Kits. We welcome anyone who would like to see the parts replaced in their transmission.
